This spicy dish, flavored with red chili paste-based sauce, is made by stir-frying squid and pork with plenty of onions and green onions. Chewy squid, tender pork, and spicy sauce work together flawlessly. One can put this dish on top of steamed rice, or wrap it with vegetable wraps. Another way to enjoy this dish is to replace the red chili paste-based sauce with a soy sauce–based one for a sweet-and-savory flavor. Picnic shoulder and pork belly are the cuts most often used for this dish. When this dish is made with pork belly, it is referred to as O Sam Bulgogi (Squid and Pork Belly Bulgogi).
