Discover the Delightful Ganjang Bibim Guksu: A Versatile Korean Noodle Dish
This noodle dish tossed with soy sauce can be enjoyed by everyone, from young children to adults. It is also known as “Guksu Bibim” or “Goldongmyeon.” The word “goldong” refers to the act of mixing. While it can have many different names depending on the ingredient used, Ganjang Bibim Guksu can be said to be the basis of all noodle dishes tossed in sauce. The sauce is made by mixing soy sauce with sugar, sesame oil, and ground sesame seed. The noodles are boiled, then rinsed in cold water and drained. One can add spiced beef and mushrooms or egg garnish to enhance the flavor.
