This noodle soup made with clams, manila clams in particular, were once enjoyed mainly in west coast cities which are major producers of manila clams. Nowadays, you can find many restaurants selling the dish anywhere in Korea. Noodles and an abundance of vegetables, including zucchini and onions, are boiled in a rich broth made with abundant manila clams. The broth is refreshing and mild. Extra spicy peppers add a spicy taste.
